What is Destination Station?

Destination Station is NASA's International Space Station Program national awareness campaign that promotes research opportunities, educates communities about activities performed on the International Space Station, and communicates the real and potential impacts of the Station on our everyday lives.

What is the Space Research Expo?

Pictures of Dr. Julie Robinson and Astronaut Rex WalheimNASA Ames Research Center will be hosting a Destination Station: Space Research Expo on Thursday, March 8 from 1:00-5:30 pm in Bldg. 152, NASA Ames Conference Area in the NASA Research Park at Moffett Field. During the Space Research Expo, space scientists and engineers from NASA, and many of our academic and industry partners will be displaying their current work through exhibits and interactive displays. Local politicians, industry leaders, research and technology managers and Ames Center Management will also be in attendance. Dr. Julie Robinson, the NASA ISS Program Scientist and Astronaut Rex Walheim will be giving presentations from 3:30-4:30 pm and a Panel Discussion and Twitter Townhall will follow at 4:30 pm.

Please note that pre registration will end today (3/7/12) at 3PM. Those not registered by 3PM today will be able to register on site, the day of the event, but registration will be limited by the capacity of the venue.
